it was a very nice hotel spotless, excellent food in main restaurant must have a car as way out,my only complaint was noise from several groups hen and stag parties arriving back all hours of the night shouting and screaming waking everyone up im sure a bit of security would stop this ,other than that i would definitely go back.and a big plus was we were allowed to take our dog as every hotel on the continent allows this very few do in england
Brilliant modern room, fantastic gym facilities and great staff!
Nothing negative, I just wish they built more village hotels in the south of the country!
The staff were not only incredibly helpful but friendly
The food in the 'pub' is not good! The breakfast wasn't bad at all though!
A great value for money hotel, with good food, friendly staff and excellent facilities that could not have been more convenient given where I was working during my stay.
The facilities were great, staff helpful and breakfasts good
Bed was comfortable and sky sports tv channels a plus
The breakfast and 'pub' food left a lot to be desired!
We liked the layout of the room and the leisure facilities The Grill restuarant was good and the staff freindly and helpful
the view from the room was not good ! only 1 lift is not really appropriate for a large hotel !!
The Village Hotel group has a standard which I have come to expect and it this hotel reached that standard with stars on
View from the window, but that is not a complaint and not anything the hotel can do about it.
Nice room and choice of restaurant and coffee lounge.
Convienience for business meetings
Friendly and welcoming staff and surroundings with the welcome addition of an onsite Starbucks.
The hotel is quite a long way out of town - certainly not within walking distance and the onsite spa was unable to offer any treatment windows upon arrival.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities were fantastic. There was a large choice for breakfast.
Our window looked out to a flat roof and wall, not the most appealing view. hospitality tray had a tiny selection of tea/coffee, no biscuits and just enough milk for two drinks each. I expected more choice for the price. The pub was quite expensive. we would have preferred a later Sunday check out and breakfast offered until 11.00 am.
Hotel room was a good size for the family. It was clean The room price was fair.
We were not told in advance children cannot use the pool facilities after 5pm..we had to go to the leisure centre down the road. Room was not prepared in advance of arrival..It appears details of requests provided through bookings.com do not transfer to the hotel. ie a family of 4 is booking and room in a quiet area of the hotel is requested Food is of good standard but expensive....but i did realise food in general is expensive everywhere in Bournmouth.
When booking I did not understand money for my stay was taken out immediately from my bank account. This was a shock to me. The hotel was friendly clean and welcoming.Eating there for breakfast was adequate and there was a choice of yours of other eating areas during my stay. The space in the room was good and the beds were very comfortable. Being able to open windows was a pleasant sureprise.Parking not a problem during my stay. I have only one issue with whether I stay there again and that is to be closer to town instead of having to pay parking tickets every time I went into Bouremouth.Having said that hotel is offering good deals. Internet was a plus in our room to use.
Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Good breakfast.
Dreadful evening meal decided not to eat there again in the evenings.
